What is this software and do I need to have it? I just got this computer with it on here and I don't even know what it is. Can I uninstall it or will it hurt my computer? It's taking up memory space and I don't use it.

This application was used in the vehicle business. If you are not in the same domain, then I recommend uninstalling it. It will not harm your computer, because it's not a system application. Try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
Revo will delete everything related to software. Make sure that when uninstalling to select Delete all.
